Great location for an extended stay in Singapore

Breakfast was in the restaurant on the ground floor and there was more than enough variety to satisfy anyone. Also the menu changed daily. The location of the Grand Orchard is great, there are numerous eateries across the road, the supermarket on the ground floor is very well stocked and there are some good specials at the Chemist next door. Only a a 5 minute walk to Orchard Rd and Somerset MRT. The room layout was good however there was some outside noise coming in (not much) due to the windows not sealing completely.

Exiting the lift into the lobby on your floor was like walking into a freezer. Luckily the room temperature control worked well.

Overall a satisfying stay.

Good location. Good facilities in the room and clean.

Breakfasts were reasonable. A bit different everyday. The main complaint about the breakfasts is that a lot of the food was only lukewarm.

Really enjoyed my stay here very much and would recommend this place to others.

There were plenty of places to eat and lots of food choices close by in walking distance. Supermarket and Pharmacy was extremely close by, location was excellent. The room was very nice and clean, and it had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and very suitable for a family of 4. I really enjoyed the stay here.

Only an outdoor pool, would have been nice to have an indoor pool and spa options, but we did not get alot of time to use the facilities anyway.

Wonderful and perfect holiday.

The staff at security/housekeeping/reception were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and enough for what I needed. The breakfast was excellent with the range available and the staff were very friendly and efficient. My husband said it was his best highlight to start his day and mine also. Found shortcuts to the MRT and Orchard road, also the neighbourhood food places were so good. All around it was a wonderful apartment. Thank you for making our Singapore trip great.

The shower seal was loose which meant water leak into the toilet area. Maybe more drawers, if possible, would have helped. The single beds could not be put together as it was stuck to the headboard. It would have been better if it’s not stuck so you can move together which would have given more space to the room. The internet was slow and therefore TV reception was not good. A dehumidifier would have been useful to take some of the moisture in the room as the shower towel rails heater was not on to cater the moisture in the bathroom seeping into the room. I hope this helps for future.

Good accommodation to stay for a couple of days exploring Singapore

Well cared and clean accommodation. Room is spacy and organized very practical. Full kitchenette included. Room service is every other day but very efficient and clean. Bathroom is small but functional, hot water at high pressure available - highly appreciated. A few restaurants even serving late and a 24h supermarket just below (resp. in) the hotel. About 5 min. walk to next metro station (Sumerset).

One-sliced windows doesn't provide a profound noise cancellation - a nearby construction area was clearly audible. Thought, it didn't bother us to much....

Not enough kitchen utensils. Need more pans, cooking bowls, mugs. Don’t understand why there is no hot water in kitchen??? Especially since there is no dishwasher.

I can hear the noise of people in the corridor. the noise from living room is able to hear from the bedroom so clearly. Edited: I requested for invoice after my stay via booking.com and no reply.

a perfect place for respite

the staff were friendly, location was great cause it was so close to food, a train station and a huge shopping mall. house cleaning was fabulous love that we got free water top up and our beds were always immaculately made.

Was a very convenient location

Great Location with many local Restaurants nearby. Great shopping centre and chemist are handy located on the ground floor.

The Nightshift Check in experience was no good as the staff member was unpleasant. She took the $300 deposit for room and told me when my partner arrives, she will have to also be required to leave a deposit. I dont think this was true as they asked again.

Location and the friendliness of the staff

No bar. Though there was one in the associated crystal cafe it wasn't a proper bar, only really there for diners and was closed at 9pm.

Much less than expected for a city such as Singapore

The hotel has a really good location and is well communicated with the rest of the city. The room was spacy and well equipped. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, cannot complain at all.

Firstly, we were given a room on the 8th floor where you could smell the damp and there was mold on the walls. We asked the receptionist to change our room and fortunately, they were able to move us and the second room was ok. The room was very loud, you could hear everything that was happening in the corridor (which was tiled, not carpeted). Door knocking all night, people walking past your door, or a freaking elevator "ding" whenever it arrived on any floor. Breakfast was really poor, I didn't expect luxuries, but there were barely any changes in the daily menu and it's hard to live for a week on beans, toast, eggs, and bacon. No selection of bread (only toast) or anything to go with it (there was not even ham or cheese). We ended up going to a restaurant nearby for breakfast.
